About PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds [PUBG] on Mac
PUBG: Battlegrounds (formerly PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is a battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Studios, a Krafton subsidiary. The game is based on previous mods created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games and expanded into a standalone game under Greene’s creative direction. It was inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale. Up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill other players while avoiding being killed themselves.
Over time, the game’s map’s safe zone gets smaller, forcing survivors into ever-tinier spaces where they must force interactions. The round is won by the final player (or team) standing. In the PUBG Universe series, it is the first game.

If your Mac is old or unable to meet the PUBG game system requirements, there is a simple solution. Cloud gaming gives you access to sufficient cloud resources for a set fee. All you need is a small client programme and an internet connection with a speed of at least 15 MBits/s. Among the best services that provide this opportunity is Boosteroid, Shadow.tech, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Google Stadia. All of these services will soon have PUBG in their game catalogue, and you will be able to play on any Mac computer (starting with MacOS 10.10) and even Android!
Can you Play PUBG on Mac with BootCamp
Please keep in mind that Mac computers with new Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max) do not currently support BootCamp.
This method is straightforward but time-consuming. If your Mac meets all of the system requirements listed above, this is most likely the best way to play PUBG right now. You must use BootCamp to set up a dual boot of Windows and Mac. BootCamp allows users to select the system in which they want to work on startup, but unlike Parallels, you cannot switch between systems. You must restart your computer every time you switch from Mac to Windows and vice versa.
Remember that a Mac is simply a computer that employs standard processors, RAM, discs, and other components. So you can install Windows on a Mac by allocating a minimum of 64 Gb of disc space (to be able to run Windows and a couple of games). Please do the following to install Windows via BootCamp:
